What do you consider is Kage level?

What do you consider is Kage level in terms of fighting, not other things?

What is the minimum power one should have to be considered Kage level? I am not talking about titles, only skill level.

Do you think someone able to barely defeat 2 Asuma level Shinobi is Kage level? How close would he be to Kage level? Almost Kage, just barely Kage, definitely Kage level?

My opinion 3rd Raikage, Minato,Tobirama are worthy for Kage level.

They all can handle more than 1 elite Ninjas, They're fast, strong, smart.

Kage level means someone able to beat some higher rank shinobis.

Higher Rank Shinobis:

These are shinobis which can instantly beat any hokage or raikage anytime anywhere or they could be hokage or raikage himself, like 3rd raikage, 4th raikage, Pein, minato, obito, itachi.


So that's why people say SM naruto is on or above kage level when he outclassed 3rd raikage and pein.

Asuma is fodder , and it really shows the difference in power of kakashi and asuma . Both fought hidan and kakuzu , but not once was hidan able to land a hit on kakashi with his weapon and kakashi was able to fight both dodge all their attacks and showed why he is kage level . Kakashi was practically by himself fighting them and having to defend chunnins yet kakashi still came on top against hidan and kakauzu whilst asuma had a whole platoon and lost badly . kakashi showed speed , handle speed , intelligence and done high level ninjustu and great taijustu . Asuma was a lot slower and lack any techniques or versatility to defeat them like kakashi who is kage level

mei and gaara are not kage level but hebi sasuke at the start shippudden is. the fact gaara lost to deidara who held back low diff showed he isn't kage level and mei lacks any sort of offensive and defensive to be considered kage level. overall her lava and boil release makes her a strong jonin .

If manga says xxx is a kage, then obviously xxx is kage level. The technique the kage uses might not be appealing to people but the author is saying the technique is indeed kage level. There's really no question to that

Just like people saying sasuke's gg swap is merely substitution jutsu, but kishi is saying is as powerful as rinnegan. We just have to go by what manga stating clearly

Having good taijutsu skills and genjutsu skills.

Itachi is kage level so his abilities would aso be considered Kage Level.

Considering Hidan beat Asuma no those shinobi if they can barely beat Asuma are not Kage level more like Chuunin level who just passed the Chuunin Exams.

Nothing under kakashi can be considered kage level.....he was the weakest kage but made up for it in smarts!!!!!

He rebuilt the whole village before Naruto became hokage and from the looks of things stabled there economy

Tsunade was appointed because the leaf lost a lot of its best ninjas and were desperate to get a established ninja with experience of how to run a village from the previous generation, jiraya refused and the leaf didn't at that time a lot to choose from . Tsunade is probably stronger than mei because tsunade contributed in war times and is known as a sannin . Tsunade borderline kage and weakest hokage , mei high Jounin level . As tsunade is practically a useless fighter , she is still a established medic , so mei lava and boil wont be able to kill tsunade and mei has shown little durability . whilst tsunade showed when she fought pein that she can tank higher level arsenal attacks that mei has never displayed

mei isn't stronger than 3 tomoe kakashi . was isn't 3 tomoe kakashi kage by trollking standards

In her fight against Madara, Mei used a few strong attacks.

And she has stronger abilities than most elite Jonin like Asuma.

I would put her at least above 4th Kazekage, Kurotsuchi, Chojuro and possibly above Darui, so I would say she is Kage level. I think she could even be a troublesome opponent for Hiruzen.
