Boruto is bratty??? How kishimoto can make him more appealing??

This kid has friends, is a born genius with huge talent potensial (rumored), has a mom and a sister, is respected as e hokages son, can do anything and get away with it....

But he disrespects his mom (trailer hint), disrespects the hokage........it's understand that he feels this way and does stuff because his fathers around.....but compared to everything Naruto,SASUKE, itachi, pain, obito, kakashi went through he seem EXTREMLY BRATTY!!!!!

Kishimoto needs to spice up boruto's character more then a father who's not around, it would be cool if kishimoto creates some sort of family drama like he did for SARADA.....I wanna see Hinata as a mom and wife.....Naruto as a father....and something other then a father who's not around to make boruto's character more appealing!!!

What do you guys think kishimoto needs to do to make Boruto not seem so much like a brat????

Boruto is the result of an era at peace. The sorta evolution stuff Shin was going on about, if you notice there's a couple. Chocho, Boruto & Sarada's problems all revolve around not having a big war or conflict to fight, they're the ninja equivalent of 'First World Problems'.

It reminds me of Asuma and Hiruzen's relationship and how he has Hokage pushed his son away, makes me sad and must inevitably come with the role of Hokage. Boruto's development will grow him out of it, dw. I think a character who hates the Hokage is really inventive actually.

Boruto is the son of the main branch member hinata hyuuga whose father is leader, and hokage Naruto, bratty seemed inevitable, it's a shame, he has none of hinata's genes I guess naruto's genes diluted them hyuuga genes

It should have revolved around Sarada and her issues with Sasuke being away and have Bolt be the understanding kid who tries to comfort her since he is also somewhat ignored by his Dad...
Then have them go on a journey and somehow get stuck in another dimension trying to find Sauce.
Then the villain, Momo whatever would be introduced and so on...

Why they both have to have daddy issues is beyond me....

It's obvious that Kishi will make Boruto a more respectful and mature shinobi. Honestly anyone can figure that out. All Kishi has to do is have Boruto learn the history of his parents, predecessors and teacher and respect that history and wallah, you have a much more appealing character. Boruto's family drama in the trailer is all part of the conflict for the movie and we all know that in Naruto, pretty much all conflict ends up resolved.

I think Kishi could have gone a better route for Boruto's internal conflict instead of the whole "Dad won't play with me" issue.

Consider this:

Boruto is the son of the 7th hokage.
Grandson of the 4th hokage.
Son of a hero who saved both the village and the world on multiple occasions
Etc...

Now humans have the tendency to place expectations on children based upon the feats of their parents (and sometimes siblings), and they also tend to treat the children of certain people differently than others (especially if the parent is someone really great or famous)

Kishi could have made it where Boruto was treated differently by the villagers for being the son of the 7th and grandson of the 4th. Not differently as in hated by the village like Naruto was. Just differently as in stuff like people looked at him with scorn and derision if he failed a test in the academy and said stuff like "That's the son of the 7th?! Tsk... He's nowhere near as good as his father". There could also be times such as: Boruto would successfully do something like make 10 shadow clones at a young age, and then villagers would scornfully say, "Tsk... The 7th was able to make 1000 clones at that age" or something like that.

Do you see what I am getting at? Basically, Boruto's internal conflict could be people always comparing him to his father and just treating him as if he is supposed to be a clone of Naruto. This could make Boruto strive to prove that he has his own identity. He could strive to make people see him as Boruto Uzumaki and not just Naruto's son. This would be a perfect motivation for Boruto wanting to surpass his dad and get training from Sasuke (so the plot of the movie wouldn't even change that much). By surpassing his dad, he would force the world to see him for who he really is!

Furthermore, Konohamaru is Boruto's sensei. Konohamaru could actually relate to that issue because he himself actually had internal conflict in his childhood due to everybody calling him honorable grandson and treating him differently. Therefore Konohamaru could be to Boruto as Iruka was to Naruto.

If this was Boruto's issue then everything would fall nicely into place! It would make perfect sense for Boruto! Plus, this issue is a perfectly legit issue that exists even in real life! I'm sure everybody even in real life wants their own identity!

This conflict would be much better than that "Dad won't play with me 24/7" issue that just makes Boruto seem like a brat who doesn't know what a job is.

I think Boruto is already interesting... it's nice that he's not "dumb" like young Naruto was. He's got a cool personality, he just has daddy issues. His whole life is defined by a man who doesn't have time for him. Meanwhile, Boruto can probably see the pain that causes for the rest of the family. I think he was really upset that Naruto didn't wait to receive Hinata's bento, in part because Boruto is used to seeing his mother feeling lonely or thinking about Naruto.
