Hebi Sasuke was without a doubt the coolest Sasuke. But he was cringy at times.
Also if Sasuke stayed the same way the whole time he couldn't have developed.
You may not like the way Sasuke was, but that sasuke wasn't really the true Sasuke to begin with.
Sasuke pre uchiha massacre is not the same as Sasuke post. Sasuke was never happy as he was before. I feel bad for Sasuke, infact Gaara explained it perfectly when he met Sasuke at kage summit. It is the reason that even Gaara shed a tear over Sasuke. He knows that the way sasuke was before was a terrible way to live. Sasuke's lifestyle is an exact reason why Madara and Obito wanted to use IT. not for power or over the death of a crush. They genuinely wanted to save people like Sasuke.
