Mito couldnt interfere in hashirama and madara's fight otherwise she would be dead long ago.

I agree. It's kishimoto's biggest mistake to not to show us true extent of uzumaki's powers. We only have seen kushina's and karin's chain technique which is not their strongest techniue. Mito might have strong techniques up her sleeve.
