Why can't Sasuke deactivate Rinnegan?

It appears Sasuke is afflicted with same thing Madara was, he can't deactivate his eye. Is it because he didn't naturally awaken it and it was given to him, like when Obito gave Kakashi his Sharingan?

No he can't. That movie is filler as ****. Each time Kishi drew Sasuke in the manga since he got Rinnegan its always activated, even when he's not even fighting. There's no reason for him to eat with his Rinnegan on.

If madara can turn on his rinnegan then he can obviously turn it off.

Why would he of turned it off anyway ?

and kakashi wasn't exactly equipped for the sharingan since he wasn't a uchiha.
It took him time to adapt to it.

Madara is a uchiha,a reincarnartion of indra,madara is having none of these problems.




Also there is no reason for anyone to think sasukecan't deactivate it.

The manga ended right after the battle of VOTE 2 and he was actively searching out traces of kaguya ...so again ....why wouldn't he keep his eye activated ?

Who said that it can't be deactivated. In the start of Gaiden it's not activated until we see his sharingan...we can all assume that is the case because we can't see his eye until he did activate the sharingan. With all the time he has had with it he should be able to activate and deactivate at anytime.

Otherwise he'll just be put in the category of fodder like all the other shinobi who don't deserve to be called fodder because they can't achieve something so simple.

Its canon in the sense that it aligns with the story plot, not abilities the characters showcased, like them breathing in space.

You dumb ass, this as nothing to do with Naruto. I have evidence that each time Kishi drew Sasuke since he got Rinnegan its been activated, whether he's in battle or not. When he wants to save chakra, he doesn't deactivate it, he just shuts his eye lid, like Kakashi did with his Sharingan.

You can't give someone a rinnegan unless its an entire new eye with rinnegan already activated.
