Question regarding Itachi's eyes

I know Itachi is highly regarded person here on the base and as a character in the manga. However since when does a pair of eyes equate to another person being present?

sasuke lost his ability to solo the moment he transplanted itachi's eyes.

I see a lot of posts like these and I just don't understand the logic behind it. Is it because they believe Itachi has manifested himself inside Sasuke as a separate entity?

Furthermore now since we've established that Itachi is dead, the only one who can presently use these pair of eyes is Sasuke. So I believe they can have long be considered Sasuke's eyes now.

Well all it was his eyes. Besides that doesn't really answer my question. I can give my lil brother my video game and then if I die who would it belong to? My lil brother ofc because I gave it to him. Eyes aren't a person anyways so I don't see why people think it's another person.

Yes, I believe Indra's power is divided amongst the siblings, Itachi had his genjutsu skill while Sasuke had his ninjutsu talent, I simply call them Indra's eyes to avoid confusion :yeah:

Obito's lab has Sasuke's eye's so Itachi could use Sasuke's eyes to gain new light. I thought about that the moment he was revived saying he was stopping the edo jutsu. When he did and Madara did the signs to undo edo i thought Itachi was going to to the same but no...Kish smashed on the ultimate Uchiha.

I mostly agree that it is similar to bijuu mode. However people are losing the conceptual differences between each power up. We can sum the process of Sasukes power by saying he gained a powerup from his brother ITachi. Naruto gained the power from Kurama. However two differences remain. Kurama is alive and ITachi is dead.
