Don't sweat it. If you have a phone like the rest of us, you'll always have time to squeeze in some manga reading at least every other week. Don't forget weekend passes as well. I had the same idea as you when I assigned for the Marines, but it's not that time-consuming (although I suppose it's different from Country to Country) =p

Just like my friend, we used to be in the same military service for the whole three months before separated and eventually we chose our own paths. He decided to join the marines while I pursued my academic study. Last time I saw him updating a picture of him working on a deck in marine attire and showed off his tanned skin on fb XD He was happy nonetheless since he loved the sea so much.

Its better that way. I'm going in the Navy soon. Maybe we can work together to catch pirates or overthrow the WG?(OP is a fusion of the U.S Navy and Marines). Since Marine basic training is 13 weeks long, at most, you'll 14 new chapters to read.
