"Infinite"?? Sasuke said Naruto was his best friend and wanted to kill him to get Mangekyo Sharingan the first two murder attempts. after the kage summit arc Naruto said he should inflict all his hatred on him and Sasuke said fine, Naruto will be the first one he kill. so that explains it. simple logic so i hope you can comprehend it. Sasuke wanted to kill Naruto for his own benefits. he tried to kill Sakura and left or for dead because she was a nuisance.
