[Discussion] Zoro and Luffy

I don't get why people keep saying that Zoro is weaker than Luffy, or mybe is this becouse he is his captain, to tell you the truth this doesn't mean anything anymore, I get that Luffy fight way tougher opponents than Zoro, but come on I don't think he is stronger than him.

Luffy Trust Zoro more becouse he knows that only Zoro is on his level of strength, Luffy has clashed before on this series but no one of them has been shown to have an upperhand over another, so that tells you a lot.

In fact Zoro can endure pain more than Luffy, he is the more tanker one on the whole crew, I bet he also have CoA as well.

So in strength alone Zoro and Luffy are on the same level.

If you gonna go by portrayal , then you might want to add law and sanji in there as well, but by feats, luffy mid diffs especially now that he has gear 4.

In terms of physical strength yeah I would say base Luffy and Zoro are equal, but gears puts Luffy above Zoro.

Also Zoro is his first crew member who joins him when luffy only has a boat & doesn't have a brain to use his boat.There way of thinking is more common then anyone in crew.

People say Luffy>Zoro because its obvious and they have basic comprehension of the manga at least. That or they just not Zoro fanboys. Zoro doesn't have more endurance than Luffy and all they had was one rather comedic right.

Zoro and Sanji are pretty much equals.

Do u realise that Zoro was already near death himself before he toke all Luffy damage, actually the triller bark arc is the one that made me believe Zoro can take more punishment than all, and if Sanji toke did wat Zoro did he would have died, and Zoro too expected his Captain to have CoA as he too has it, the time will come wen we realise he has it too.

And haki is a willpower and it won't make sense if Zoro doesn't have it, Mahawk even said that he nevr meet someone as willful as Zoro.

At fishman he was jst happy that his captain isn't lacking bahind him.

If u are a One Piece Fan, u should have realised that Zoro is Far stronger than Sanji, from the beginnin of the show Sanji always fight the third strongest enemy, and again Sanji sometimes have a go at luffy Opponents and they always beat him like nothing.

Why don't u ask urself why Zoro has nevr fought against opponents luffy fights, he only fought Hody jones which we all saw that Zoro was able to give a big hound even if they where inside the water, actually hody dint even hound Zoro, he won becouse Zoro lost his breath.

The reason Oda does this is becouse he knows that opponents Luffy fight and beat Zoro can beat as well, so he avoids to show off the strength of Zoro compared to Luffy.

So far we have seen Luffy go all out and he is even on the ground Now, but we haven't seen Zoro go all out yet, so based on G4 u can't say he stronger coz of it just yet, if u said he is stronger than Law I will understand but not Zoro.

Zoro nevr lost a sweat Vs Pica, he beat him without trying, he dint even use 50% of his power. And I pretty much believe Pica would have given Luffy a problem.

And more is that Zoro wants to surpuss mihawk who might be on the level of a Pirate King now.

I would not compare Sanji to Zoro or Luffy and Law, becouse they are all stronger than him, Sanji willpower is a little weaker compared to Zoro and Luffy, first Sanji loses a lot more than the 2.

We don't know Zoro true strength but we know Luffy's let's wait for Wano then we can start comparison in strength but you can nevr compare Zoro to Sanji, Zoro is oviously Stronger, it has been hinted a lot in this series. But we nevr got a hint that makes Luffy stronger than Zoro, jst that Luffy fight tougher opponents becouse he is Captain.

G4 is strong but don't just say it will beat up Zoro real bad, becouse we have seen Zoro full powers, who knows, mybe Zoro can gain the strength that can compare to G4 if he opens his left eye.

Sooo....if I have common sense, logic and an understand of One Piece......I'm not a fan? Yeah don't play that ignorant card.

Sanji usually fights the 3rd strongest and is CLEARLY the stronger one. The opponent then relies on dirty tricks to gain the upper hand(like protecting Nami) which forces Sanji to show off his wit. Sanji fights Luffys opponents? Fighting Enel without haki? I believe Zoro got destroyed as well. Doflamingo? Don't even try that. Zoro would get dusted too.

Why Zoro never fights Luffy's opponents? Lets see.....cause Zoro would've lost to Croc, Enel, Lucci and Magellan with absolutely no hope of winning. Hody Jones? Sanji can beat him. Caesar? Sanji can beat him.

The only thing hinted in the series was that they're close in power but you're clearly so blind you're excusing zoro only.

Feats is what makes people judge, now decide by which one you want to go, feats or portrayal.(it's not like you know shit about either though)

Gear 4 isn't even needed for luffy to win if we go by feats. That's how big the power gab is. Sanji was always portrayed to be equal to zoro in terms of skill and strengh and even overall usefulness, and law and from we've seen from law and luffy vs diffy was shown to be equal to luffy in overall fighting skill, now stop being a little hypocrite and start reading the damn manga.




ps: I don't understand why zoro fans in NB are like this, His fans in orojackson,OPB and even ****ing youtube are much better when you compare them to NB....
