Kishi forgot to add Byakugan

Boruto and Himawari are the only known descendants of the Hyūga Clan who do not possess the Byakugan. However, according to Masashi Kishimoto, he intended to give them the Byakugan, but forgot to before releasing chapter 700. This gives a strong explanation as to why his The Last: Naruto the Movie artwork showed him with pale lavender eyes.

In general I think very highly of Kishi. I love his Naruto manga and drawing style.
However, he forgot about adding something like Byakugan eyes and therefore we dont have them?
That is a bit disappointing. I would have liked if at least one of their children had a Byakugan.

I dont know how far he had written the story about Boruto already, but if it involved Byakugan (because he intended to give it to him), than he had to rewrite everything regarding Boruto and Byakugan.

In some way it is cool that not every child gets a Byakugan if one parent is Hyuuga though.
After all, only one of Kaguya her children had Byakugan, so its maybe not weird for Boruto and Himiwari not to have Byakugan.

I think it was the same interview that said he "Forgot" to add byakugan to bolt & himawari.

Kishi should atleast still give them it and just come up with some lame reason why they have normal eyes yet still have byakugan because "Enter plot reason here".

Honestly, I don't believe that he "forgot" it. If is true that he said such a thing, I'm pretty sure it was an excuse because he didn't really want to give them the Byakugan.
