Hey everyone! I wanted to discuss with you guys today what Naruto's second possible nature manipulation could have been. While Naruto did end up obtaining every chakra nature baring yin @ the end of the manga. Kishi never showed us what the second nature he could have utilized, & just left it up to speculation. Which is strange since Sasuke his spiritual brother from another mother already mastered Two Nature transformations, by the time Naruto learned One.
While Naruto may not have needed it, considering he developed one of the strongest One shot techniques in the manga with wind release & his dads jutsu (Rasengan).
There is no doubt in my mind that a second nature could have helped obviously.
Naruto's Primary element or Affinity was
Which surprisingly enough both Minato & Kushina had. [
Not to mention, Kaze in Namikaze means "Wind" So Naruto most likely got the Wind affinity from his father, & or from both his parents possessing Wind release.
Since Naruto has Wind release, from the five basic chakra natures Naruto's remaining options were Fire, Water & Earth.
Right away we can cross of Lightning because...
1. Sasuke had Lightning release, & Kishi wouldn't have either use any techniques similar to the other.
So let's take a look at Katon (Fire release).
Although Naruto possess's the will of fire, & Minato had Katon the reasons he wouldn't have it is.
1. Sasuke already has it (his Affinity from being an Uchiha)
Thus fire release gets eliminated.
Now Doton (Earth Release) is somewhat possible because Hashirama a transmigrant of Ashura like Naruto possessed
But now Possible reasons I don't believe he possessed Doton was.
1. Neither of his parents had it.
2. Yamato could tell and exclaims how lucky Naruto is Not to be an
3. Kishi wouldn't make both of Naruto's chakra natures
So the most logical conclusion is Water release (Suiton). Which I'm sure Kishi must have been alluding to by naruto's last name being Uzumaki meaning "Whirlpool" or "Maelstrom", & or Part 2 of Naruto being titled Naruto Shippuden "Naruto Hurricane Chronicles. If those two aren't evidence enough...

If Naruto had Water style he'd counter Sasukes fire style. Sasukes fire style counters Naruto's wind style, & Naruto's Wind style counters Sasukes lightning style. Meaning neither have a significant counter over the other.
What Water Release does for Naruto
1.Water release would add versatility, defense, & utility to Naruto's Arsenal. It's already one of the most versatile of the five basic chakra natures in the manga.
For example. Naruto could shoot/Expel Suiton to

2. It's also quite possible for Naruto to create a new Water technique with Rasengan, or just use a wind technique to buff his water techniques like he did with Yamato.

Against Sasuke
Naruto's Suiton techniques would most likely counter all of Sasukes Katon techniques barring Amaterasu & Enton. Much like FRS & variants beat all of Sasukes Raiton techs barring Indras arrow, which Naruto needed also needed TBBRS against to fully counter.
But the real fun begins with how Naruto & Sasuke both benefit from Naruto having Suiton
During the war. Naruto & Sasuke were shown using combination attacks against the Juubi. Combing FRS & Enton for Killer One shot techniques. If Naruto had an extremely powerful suiton jutsu & Combined it with futon via a clone or whatever. He could possibly form a
Thus. Naruto & Sasuke could have negged Obito by creating large scales storms (Hurricane) enhanced by Kuramas chakra + Naruto could have given Sasuke a kyuubi cloak 3X power boost. And they could have Kirin spammed his ass. It would have been good game. Madara would have never been revived :bdpf:
So? do you agree that it was most likely Suiton or disagree? Did you want to see Naruto's second element? Or didn't really care? haha
