We all know Kishi's writing well when it comes to choosing the hokage. It is usually some kid who claims they would be the hokage at a very young age.

As the main character of Gaiden she has showed her appreciation for the title of hokage. She has sworn to become hokage and is the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha. Bolt is a great candidate but he has shown no interest in the title.

Sarada even has similar feats to Naruto as the hokage in Gaiden.

Yeah I would give her a chance in the movie. I didn't like her that much in gaiden as well but I'm glad she got her closure.
