I'm glad Sarada's mom issue was resolved, it was totally not needed imo.
I guess Kishi likes teasing the SasuSaku fans.. :hmm:

5/5 chapter.

- Kurama was badass. I haven’t seen that fierce look of his in a long time. It just gave me goosebumps as it reminded me of the times when he used to go berserk.

- It was great seeing Kabuto at the orphanage. His character can finally be laid to rest as he has received proper closure to his development.

- This chapter made me respect Karin more, as she is no longer the obsessive girl she once was, since she’s over Sasuke and just wants him to be happy.

- I also respect Sakura’s character more, since she didn’t completely deceive her daughter like I initially thought.

- It was good to see Sarada smiling again and that her family issues have now been resolved. I have to admit that family portrait at the end looked great. It’s nice that we finally get to see a real picture of her family.

- Sarada’s development throughout this mini-series was enjoyable to follow. She’s by far my favourite kid of the new generation, and it was great to see her aspiring to become Hokage.

Well, that marks the end of the Naruto manga. I look forward to watching the Boruto movie real soon.

Okay, I admit that Sarada parts were actually heartwarming to me. The adoption of all Shins, however, was a bit too much. Nice seeing Kabuto, but IMO that hair doesn't really suit him; nice seeing Karin, too. I like her portrayal in the chapter. Also, Ino's hair is suddenly shorter.

Overall, heh, the Gaiden was indeed too short for any proper development, especially in relation to Shin(s); but I'm actually pretty okay with it.

1.) Karin gave up her child to sakura for love? Wow.. Motherly love much?
2.) Sasuke legit is a player.. This episode showed that he barely cares for sakura. Lol
3.) Naruto is bad ass
4.) How in the HELL is Kabuto alive. Kabuto legit did worst then ORO AND Madara.. Good god

i would like to clarify that karin is not sarada's mothers . She was the nanny she just delivered sarada ,like a doctor in today's time. Sakura was the mother, as it has been mentioned the umbilical cord was from sakura, i.e sarada was in her womb

I think you misread, Karin said he umbilical cord was shared between Sakura and sarada which means sakura gave birth to sarada. When Karin says she "delivered" sarada, she means she helped Sakura through the birthing process. So sakura IS saradas definite mother.

Kabuto sold it. Seeing him put the gosts of his past aside & turning over a new leaf was a relieving thing to see.
He was broken by Danzo, twisted by Orochimaru and Itachi brain-jacked him until his mind was put back into place. I'm glad Kishi gave him closure.

Running an orphanage & going back to his childhood self before all of this was a great idea on Kishi's part.

[Six Paths]

I don't know how to feel about this series at all. We have seen a lot about Sarada, Sasuke, Sakura...and Sarda got quite the development now. But I am very disappointed for so many things. We haven't seen the least bunch of Boruto, this was all to give Sarada some development. Everything was purely fast paced, and it seemed like Kishimoto just wanted to end the series as quick as possible and this also confirms that he has finished the Naruto series once and for all...

I am just disappointed because I liked Naruto so much, so I expected more from the Gaiden, or at least more focus on some of their characters. This just a bunch of wasted Potential which Kishimoto just can't utilize anymore. Such a shame.
