How is Gai going to outlast Itachi? He's only blitzing in 7th gate 6th gate is very spectacle. Also Gai would have to stay Gate(ed) just to dodge Amaterasu.​

So? Maintaining Gates isn't an issue, especially when he can simply use them in bursts like he did during the war arc, instead of staying in it the whole entire time. All he'd be doing is dodging since Hirudora won't and shouldn't be used while Itachi still has Yata Mirror and V4 up.

Gai isn't a sensor so he'll die trying to predict when Amaterasu is coming and trying to look into Itachi's eyes won't help him either because there's this thing called genjutsu. Itachi won't need to maintain a v4 Susanoo he can simply stick to a rib-cage susanoo. Plus there's the fact that he can make clones and who's to say they can't use Amaterasu as well?

He doesn't need to make eye contact to know when Amaterasu is being used. He doesn't need to look into Itachi's eyes to know he's using Amaterasu when the blood drips down his face. Not to mention he can't cast Genjutsu while he's in the middle of casting Amaterasu anyway, which the main reason this "look in the eyes Genjutsu GG, look at the feet Amaterasu GG" argument is nothing but a load of BS. I'll refer you to canon where Ay successfully evaded Amaterasu despite not being a sensor. Nothing more needs to be said on the matter.

If he sticks to a Ribcage Susanoo, then Gai blitzes and rapes him with Hirudora. So Itachi is going to split his chakra between more than 1 clone and use one of the most strenuous techs in his arsenal multiple times? Yeah, right. lmao. Not happening. Even if he did, Gai would evade and blitz these clones one by one. Multiple Amaterasu means nothing when they'll all be aiming for the same target, thus they'll all spawn on the same spot. Once Gai leaves that spot, they've missed. They can't get him while he's on the move since he's too fast for Sharingan to track.

They aren't being underrated, at all. Healthy or not, he still has to deal with MS strain, which is a toll on chakra and stamina, and his eyes.

Itachi's genjutsu opening attack isn't going to catch guy. He's trained to fight sharingan genjutsu against Kakashi for years. Plus, intense taijutsu at Guy's level is a sharingan user's worst nightmare.

Wtf do u expect? Is itachi going to accept Gai's tactic? Itachi is one of the most intelligent people in the Manga. He'll find a way to exploit and counter Gai's counter. Tsukuyomi one shots. There is no need to argue any further. Accept the truth.
