What if someone with the Ope Ope no mi granted someone immortality at the cost of their own life, and then that someone found the Ope Ope no mi after it had been reborn into another fruit. Could they then eat it and grant immortality to loads of people without losing their own life?

I think its obvious that Oda won't even touch on this question but it is still funny. Imagine if Doffy had an army of immortal executives.

EDIT: Misunderstood your question.

That person with immortality using the same move again would more than likely cancel out the effect, and cause them to die as well.

Immortality does not mean invulnerability (At least from my understanding)

Im pretty sure if you die because someone kills you thats it. But if you manage to survive then you will live forever. Therefore if he uses that ability he would be sacrificing his own immortal life to pass it on to someone else.

I think u shld look at it more as when a user does the immortality surgery their entire life energy is the necessary fuel for the tech as stamina is for the lower end techniques so if u have immortality i think the yo life for immortality to another is the absolute rule of that tech so u still die.

Sorry, who loses his life?

The one been granted eternal life or the user?
Im completely confused on what your trying to say.
He's asking what would happen if someone who became immortal due to the effects of the Ope Ope no Mi, would then find the reborn Ope Ope no Mi, eat it and tries to likewise grant someone else immortality. Would he die or not in the case of the latter would he be able to repeat it?

And to answer that, well unless Oda touches the topic (if not in the series, it's still possible in the SBS), we can never know for sure as we don't know anything about the nature of the immortality. It's possible it simply doesn't work as after all he is under the influence of a DF, which should have left traces. It's possible he can grant someone immortality, but still at the cost of his own as he sacrificed it.

I think immortality here means that he will stay young for a very long time or the life time which the ope ope no me user had left. Since DF come to life again make someone eat it & do the same thing. So this way person become immortal.
