I haven't watched the Last or the Boruto movie(Its not even released i think), i heard about Toneri and 2 others.
Where do they come from and what do they want? Was anything about Kaguyas goals revealed?

It seems like Kishi just introduced Kaguya and left an "open" ending to have stuff for movies…Im not even excited,because you already know Naruto/Sasuke will win.

They seem like Filler characters for me.

Toneri is a descendent of Hamura, the Sage of the Six Paths' brother, who believed Hamura had left a Celestial Decree to destroy Earth if it ever became too warlike. We have no idea who the other two are, besides that they're named Momoshiki and Kinshiki, since the Boruto movie hasn't come out yet and information is pretty sparse.

None of them are filler villains, since both movies are confirmed to be canon.

Hagoromo and Hamura came from Earth and created the moon, the latter being where Hamura and the then current generation of Ōtsutsuki moved to, with the exception of Hagoromo.

Kaguya and her generation came from another unknown planet, where there is a population of her own species that are more powerful than her.

The majority of the descended Otsutsuki remained on the Moon to guard the Chibaku Tensei concealing the Ten Tails's husk(Kaguya), whereas some were hidden on the Earth with sinister intend, for reasons that are unknown even to me.

Bottomline: We're aliens, and the Uzumaki, Senju, Uchiha, Hyuga and Kaguya Clans are distant relatives.
