Oh okay cool man

I should have elaborated on this in my first post. (I meant, I don't care about what you think about all white people, but I do care about the problem)

I assure you it's just the rich, white, christian males:) Jk, not everyone is bad. Generalizing a whole group as being problematic is just a bad idea.

Discrimination. Because of general discrimination in America, it's harder to get jobs, you see much more cultural separation, more conflicts, unemployment rises, ghettos start appearing, gangs start forming. It just gets bloodier and bloodier until it goes to two separate groups fighting for power. A lot of civil wars have started just because of discrimination.

I've been contemplating joining the military for a while, but when I sit down to hear how everything in this country is playing out I've become more and more certain that there's going to be another civil war in our lifetime. I sure hope I'm wrong.

It isn't paradise but it is better than almost all the countries out there in most aspects. It would continue to improve. What more do you want ?

True. Everyone's terrified of immigrants and talks down to them like second class, but they are immigrants themselves.

That's because America's economy is on the verge of collapse, and the truth is, communism is more efficient (Though...I'd rather not live in a communist country). Capitalism is very difficult to maintain as a system.

Maybe...elaborate?

This is the saddest fact in my opinion. I mean, America tore a country apart looking for a single man. We killed millions of people just to kill Al Qaeda's leader, but what did that solve? We didn't eradicate the terrorist organization, we just made them pick a new leader. And it may have even contributed to the rise of ISIS.

capitalism is very easy to maintain. the only realy power the federal governement should have in capitalist countries is to break up trusts. You can't say capitalism has failed when the government interferes in places it shouldn't all the time.

Lack of spirituality, I have seen that anything spiritual is usually an alien concept to the comparatively younger American culture. Most people seem to be way too focused in enjoying life feasting the senses. Since there is lack of spiritual/moral background so ultimately motivations comes from the outside rather then inside(lack of inner strength in people). Even here in India I've observed that sometimes when a shop gets robbed thieves and such leave money kept in the name of god, not saying those are good things(to steal) and they believe in pretty orthodox way but there is no such moral obligation inbuilt in the culture. This is also why I fear for my culture when people here blindly copy the west(and only the bad things)

One word; misdirection. But to be honest there is no one real problem with America it's really a combination of many things.

That's what patriots will lead you to believe. But no. We're failing as a country. Many other countries have freedom, and many other countries have better education, representatives, and legal systems. Nobody seems to care much.
It's not paradise, and it's getting further and further from.

Even though I respect the U.S. soldiers, I would say U.S. does not need anymore soldiers nor is it required to join the military any soon. U.S. has one strong defensive system, that as you know, requires a lot of money. That's one of the reasons why America has poor healthcare system at this moment, as well as a lot of unemployment. Just maintaining the army requires way too much money.

There's not going to be a civil war in America. At least not anytime soon. The citizens of America can barely riot now without losing their lives at the process.

It's not, America's economy is collapsing at an extremely quick rate. Capitalism is very effective, but when it collapses, it collapses faster than any other system.

I don't believe spirituality is linked with morality.
But I do agree that morality is a problem here. Too many people in America lack empathy and compassion for their countrymen.

I don't plan on joining the military for America, or anyone in it. The fact that so much money goes into it, makes me feel that it's the only way to make a living and pay for college. Etc. And it's the fact that they can't riot without losing their lives than can cause more organized riots, and maybe give rise to an insurgency.

since 9/11 the public has finally become more well informed about Capitol gains, Imperialism, foreign policy etc. most of us can agree that going to war breeds hate among those around the world. Its very much like Naruto's goal for peaceful resolution between lands. The real question is.. What will happen next in our democracy?

It is said that we will witness a 3rd world war (im not talking about iraq). Some have said that China will be a factor. They already win when it comes to the trade market and hold alot of the worlds wealth through commerce.

The real problem in america is that the public are very much TRAPPED. If you have kids...good luck to them!
