Even with the painful amount of flashback fillers with no purpose behind them, the anime is still coming tremendously close towards the ending of Naruto Shippuden and the events of Chapter 700, so I want to ask you all this question and give your input in a descriptive manner.
What filler arc can Studio Pierrot implement that would actually make sense, and stay relevant to the plot ?
Personally, I would love if they did more fillers that highlighted characters that are still alive and present in the war, those particular characters that weren't given a chance for background development, such as Tenten, Tobi(Zetsu), Black Zetsu as well, to know how he observed the ninja world from creation up to Naruto's era, yearning to see his mother again.
A prime example of what I am referring to is when SP did the filler arc about Kakashi during his days in Anbu, it led to a personal character in-depth development for not only Kakashi himself, but also Tenzo, who'm was finally revealed as Yamato, finally giving us a view on what his childhood was like including how he came to be into Konoha.
This is the formula I am referring to, to see characters such as Yamato reveal their backgrounds, characters that are still alive and present in the anime series instead of being killed off at the end of said filler arc.
