Gai is so fast, he wouldn't be bothered by distractions like a dog. Hell, nagato would probably be dead before he could summon the dog. Even with the dog on the battlefield. Gai could go straight for him, and there's nothing the dog nor nagato could do about it, because the simply can't react. Nagato's best chance would be if he could somehow get into that chameleon of his. But like I said, he'd probably be dead before he could do any summonings.

Disagree with a lot of that. But it all depends on the user and their arsenal. Naruto stomps nagato. but in terms of IT. Madara stomps Naruto but not Nagato. Since this is a rinnegan battle, Madara's IT is useless except on gai.

Sensing predicts Gai? Come on, dude. Sensing outside of SM has never had the ability to predict movement on a level high enough to contest standard visual ability, and even Sage Mode can't predict movement speed so high that space is literally bent around the user.

Madara stomps Nagato too Madara blitzes him he can do nothing about a guy who no only reacts SM minato but takes his arm off too. Nagato can't do anything about his tuth seeking balls and most importantly Nagato doesn't have senjutsu. Their arsenal doesn't mean shit if you can't even touch or harm the guy. Their are only to current people Madara in his prime that he doesn't wreck, Sasuke and Kaguya.

Didn't you know he doesn't need time to activate technique, nor does he need any handseal. Nagato just keeps flying using deva where gai can't reach ST's him to the ground. the cycle keeps going on.

Gai 7,8th gate is a taijutsu mode and taijutsu requires close Combat, and from what we've seen , Nagato is very good at containing enemies on a distance with his Shinra Tensei. not even a Biju was able to get away from his Shinra tensei. Gai is fast , but once he gets caught in Nagato's ST, it's over. Even if Nagato doesnt win against Gai , He still has more chances to success than Madara and Sasuke .
