SS will not win jack. Even if Sakura is the biological mother. That 'family' is messed up beyond repair. From the deception, to the so called non contact mission and the lack of relationship, and not forgetting to mention the 'past', Sarada's agony. ... that is the worst ship ever.

SK fans aren't winning anything either as even if Karin is the mother she hasn't been there for Sarada also it would mean that she was a side chick. I don't care for pairing but SS is at least more decent looking than SK, at least from chapter 8 we saw the amount of lobe and affection Sakura was giving Sarada, And by people's logic, Sasuke went to Kaguya's dimension in order to figure out why she wanted an army and wanted to see if his hypothesis was true, saying he doesn't love his family is like saying a Marine doesn't love their family just because they decided they want to defend their country, in fact the whole army doesn't love their families. But I think SS is more more legit, the only deception to be honest was from suigetsu. Everyone has been telling Sarada that Sakura is the mom, and what agony? The definition of agony doesn't even match up to what you said, what Sarada had was curiosity, agony would be if she was kicking and screaming about it. I don't know why people say that Sakura/Sasuke deceived Sarada. I don't remember any point in Gaiden about Sarada asking Sakura if she was her birth mother and it is likely that Sarada never actually did ask that to Sakura. She asked that to Sasuke once, but when Sasuke asked "Did something happen that I don't know about?", Sarada just got mad and stormed off (never giving Sasuke the chance to answer the original question).

Therefore, neither Sakura nor Sasuke ever actually said to Sarada that Sakura was her birth mother. That is just what Sarada naturally believed her whole life.

Now you might say that letting Sarada believe this was deception, but it was not.

Many parents of adopted children simply wait until the child is a certain age to tell them. Are those parents deceiving their child? If I adopt a child and then I still haven't told them that they were adopted when they are 5 years old, am I lying to that child?

You have a point though but try to understand that Sarada is still 12 y/0 that could/ might hardly understand everything at her age unless kishi depicts her character as a "total open-minded one" ..if you notice on previous chapter when Sarada reacted "I'm gonna continue my journey alone and I don't think I'll be returning to the village..." upon knowing that her alleged mother Sakura was not her bio, if not for Naruto's insights- she might have been next to her father's league...Sarada's maturity on this aspect has been stabilized though when she 'thought' of saving her mom other than nonsensical things at the latter part of the chap..

When Gaiden ends, it will be their Academy Graduation, which means that there will be a short timeskip between the Academy Graduation to the Movie (Chuunin Exams). I completely understand not telling her if she is indeed adopted. That's not what I was getting at in the first place. It's all the other forms of deception I have alluded to that have inherently caused Sarada distress. The picture being foremost.
