I wouldn't buy it straight out. EA games are pretty infamous for having shitty launches. I doubt the alpha will even be playable on the date is says.

As long as it feels and plays like it did on the PS2 or better then i'd be fine with that.

Always wanted a HD remaster of those games anyway.

It's not.

You'll be paying full price for 1/4 of a game, only to buy another 1/4 of the game at 1/2 price.

Even including every announced DLC, there is barely half the content that even BFI included.

I miss games that were just games.

No planned DLC.
No early access.
Only exclusive content you got were via magazines or playing in the beta/alpha
No micro-transitions
