There are so many misconceptions about this match that people think Kisame easily wins. I am about show otherwise. Sorry Kisame fans I guess I am downgrading him since he is going to have a very hard time against Tsunade here OR we could upgrade Tsunade because she has the ability to take on Kisame.
Tsunade's whole arsenal outright counters Kisame's absorption abilities and makes it useless.
Tsunade does not use chakra enhanced strength as they call it. She has natural strength and just uses taijustu. CES which is a fan term wasnt a thing till the beginning of part 2 when

. Yes Kisame can absorb her chakra but as I explained he is going to have a very hard time doing that and will lead to him being injured. The combination of Tsunade's giant reserves, her regeneration, her arsenal countering his absorption abilities and Katsuyu's versatility in this match allow her to handle Kisame.
