The RSM we saw in gaiden seemed to be a "partial" form. Didn't have the rinnegan or tomoes on his back.

Your kinda wrong his skin only does not glow when using all the bijuu's chakra this is just kurama mode+rsm.

The skin glows because of the lack of chakra from the other Bijuu.

This is RSM with only the Kyuubi's chakra. RSM with chakra from all the Bijuus is what Naruto looks like from chapter 673,til 697. Once he regains c from the Bijuu he'll get that form back.

He used it all against Sasuke, and hasn't gone into the mode since. Although apparently it automatically recharges.
