The Storm
A storm rages, striking and howling,
Like an animal cast from the
Depths of its cage.
It hungers now to rage away,
Unchained from its leash to
Play with its prey.
A storm of which has never
Been seen, it is a storm
That eats away dreams.
Nothing is spared, nor hopes or joys, they're taken away
Like stolen toys.
The storm does not care
For what it takes, it only wants
To shower you with hate.
For it is not a storm to be seen, this is a storm that howls within.
Like an animal cast from the
Depths of its cage.
It hungers now to rage away,
Unchained from its leash to
Play with its prey.
A storm of which has never
Been seen, it is a storm
That eats away dreams.
Nothing is spared, nor hopes or joys, they're taken away
Like stolen toys.
The storm does not care
For what it takes, it only wants
To shower you with hate.
For it is not a storm to be seen, this is a storm that howls within.
