She was confirmed to be a medical ninja a few months ago.She isn't a support type ninja. How does having CES make her a support type character? Just because she has one of Sakura's power that actually goes along with the rest of her fighting skills for its betterment make her a support type? Now that's an unexpected judgement.
Her extreme strength is a major part of her taijutsu, and Sharingan perfectly complements this type of fighting style. It will be just like general taijutsu with boosted strength (which is a great additional attribute) equipped with Sharingan (for better precision, aiming and precognition). That's literally the best of taijutsu packed in one individual. And the Sharingan is perfect for taijutsu. What's wrong with the added benefit of having super strength? It's great if you ask me.
She also isn't a medical ninja, though she might know some for the time of need, which increases her abilities as a ninja, adding versatility and capability of everything to some extent. And if she has regeneration abilities, she's the real MVP (but I bet she won't have them at this age). And that doesn't actually make her a support type. Just like Hinata was one of the primary trackers in Konoha's tracking team, yet she had some healing abilities for certain situations. Did simply that make her a support type? No. Then why Sarada?
Being an Uchiha, she will also definitely have some expertise in ninjutsu as well with Fire Style as her main affinity. She will master Fire Style jutsus with some training. It's a different and better approach than the similar Yin Yang rivalry with Boruto with the same style of jutsus.
And she will have better skills in genjutsu as well due to her precise chakra control, which again is complemented by the Sharingan for visual genjutsu.
The Sharingan suits her fighting style just perfectly and amplifies her abilities in the best way. With Sakura's powers (CES i.e. taijutsu and medical ninjutsu) and Uchiha's powers (ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu) along with the Sharingan, she has the best ingredient for everything, and will have better than average skills in all departments, ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu and medical ninjutsu. If you combine all of the mentioned abilities, that's literally the best of a ninja packed in one individual. Frankly, I don't see the Sharingan going to waste.
Kishimoto said her character specialized in herbs. No one believed it until now anyway. Don't you think it's kind of flawed to think a medical ninja would not know the basics of medical ninjutsu before they learn CES? Jeesus.
