Doesn't work this way. Orochimaru was slashed in half still survived just fine, because of his true form being just a big snake that can't be killed by normal means. A rasengan isn't going to cut it, or 5 rasengans for that matter.
Then there's Yamata no Orochi, which Minato can't do anything against.
Also, I find it hard to believe that Orochimaru would be unable to react to Minato's attack after he has been successful couple times.

You are not getting this , once orochimaru is marked its all over . he cant react to something like flying raijin 2 . and after marking minato appears right next to him with a rasengan in a hand . There is also nothing to suggest that yamata no orochi or white snake cannot be harmed by a rasengan
