part 1 Naruto was the best Naruto in the series :l

Why does it suck and why don't you stop reading it I've been hearing tons and tons of people complain about the manga since pain arc and waste they time reading it.

I stopped over 300 chapters and I skipped them until it got ok!! And now its by far the best!!

Then he better address it correctly if he didn't want intend this to happen. I seriously hoped that she was going to be better than her old-self but was disappointed by the spin off.

Naruto is over so that ship is sailed already. As for Spin off she is doing fine. Haters and pairing fans who wanted to create a superior Uchiha race adding some Uzumaki or Hyuga blood ( reminds me of Nazies... ) will always be there complaing over eveything.

Which could have been avoided easily. Do not include naruto nor sasuke to this spin off. Kishimoto knew that there's no way that they couldn't take down an easy target as this wanna be itachi [shin] and his shadow permanent clones. He should have went to use the same plot as part 1 [the exams]. Introduce a mini villain like shin jr, with sharingan ofc, and from there it would have been better than the thing we're getting so far... disgusting.

Kishi said already that Sarada was the main character for this series and he used it as a precursor to the upcoming movie and to explain things about Sasuke's journeys. On top of it he seems to be playing with Sasuke Karin shippers who kept insisting she was Karin's daughter. It may not be the story you were looking for it's not surprising seeing Kishi's habit of weaving his tales around unresolved emotional conflicts. It may be disappointing to some who were looking for more Naruto but disgusting?

Then he should have kept naruto in the village and we wouldn't have many nerfs here and there. It's laughable because when sarada was going to get hurt by the shurikens [i believe] he didn't use susano for some unknown reasons... nerf? I freaking think so. It breaks the logic already establish by kishimoto himself.

He didn't seem to need it. It's not a problem of logic it's "what you want it to be" VS "what writer wants to do". What you and me want doesn't and shouldn't affect the writer. I want the story he wants to tell. If I want to tell a story my way, I will have to work on fanfictions or my own series.

It's a canonical fact. Naruto sales since Part 1 declined, especially during the War arc.

I'm sure that no one gives a damn about Sasuke's drama within his family so why bother? We are interested in other things and other people like how the current Kage's are doing and the current state of the ninja world, and the interaction between Hinata and her household with Himawari and Bolt, more information on things that were not explained in the regular series like the Uzumaki clan being destroyed, or Kaguya's life story and why she needed an army. Instead he is giving us this stupid filler so he can make sure that everyone see's the movie because he knows that everyone will watch it.

Pretty lame introduction to a new generation.

I will admit, Karin and Sarada's parentage was the only thing that made me interested in keep reading. When I saw Chapter 700 of the last chapter of Shippuden it made me interested in waiting to see what Kishi will explain in 3 months, and now that we got it, I am not really that pleased, but I guess I expected too much.

The gaiden does seem like a volume worth of damage control in terms of the SasuSaku pairing.

OT: I honestly like Salad so seeing her conflicts and resolution was enjoyable. For that reason the gaiden seemed interesting to me (and seeing Sasuke and what hell he's been doing of course). However the tools that were used to tell the story wasn't good by anyone's standard.

Shin is an Uchiha wannabe that looked up to Itachi...(Itachi wank never ends with Kishi) and was the result of orochimaru's experiments. He has several hundred clones of himself and and sharingan all over his body. Dislike!

A concept was thrown in in one of the chapters. Sasuke said something about a threat greater than Kaguya and why she needed to build an army? So far we got none of that. If this is all in the movie then what was the point of introducing it in the gaiden? #thehypewasnotreal

Salad's rebellious behaviour is due to Sasuke not being home since she can remember. How does that work exactly? It's fine saying Sasuke was out on a mission but for years? So long in fact that Salad can't remember what he was like? No contact with her whatsoever via hawk or maybe a phone since people have that nowadays. Can't he just quickly go over to konoha for like a day then resume researching? Also what's up with Sakura keeping Salad out of the loop too. It just seems so unbelievable.

The faults are actually making more of an impact than the good points so Salad's story sadly won't be very memorable.
