You see there once was a hungry wolf. The whole forest knew that she was on the prowl, the Deer knew that when the wolf came it would run away, and the doves knew that when the wolf came they would fly away, but the duck said to itself.

So when the wolf came the deer ran, and the doves flew, but when it came to the duck it hesitated because it couldn't decide on whether to run or fly. Those seconds of hesitation were all that it took for that wolf to end the duck's life."
