I really fell bad for sarada though, she's one of my favorite in her generation nxt to OG boruto and probably the only likeable uchiha and it sucks that she gets kishi's famous treatment.

It does really. She had loads of potiential to be something more.

Well I was hoping to see jutsus from her as well but there is more to a character than just fighting. This gaiden was mostly to develope her character(rather than her combat ability) and flesh it out properly. Once that is done then she can then fight. Don't worry op, we saw her in the chunnin exams in one of the trailers so she would fight. She's no longer questioning whether to be a shinobi(so that's a development) and she's practicing her sharingan. We don't see anything in trailers but trailers don't tell the full plot
