Since it's causing so much hype in my last thread. I decided to have a full blown Itachi vs Tayuya conversation on this thread.

BTW: Taguya is the girl in Sound Four who use sound to deploy genjutsu. She's the girl Shikimaru fought and was winning until Temri came and killed her.

Itachi would neg easily. He would just use his crow to get into Tayuya's mouth and Solo Glance her by trapping her in Tsykuyomi.

Tayuya can pretty much render Itachi's Sharingan useless if she manages to trap him with her flute. But, it's not very hard to break since Shikamaru managed to do it via breaking his finger. Imo, Itachi wins this anyways.

All of Tayuya's genjutsu leave speech and mouth movements unimpaired, which means anyone can break out of them as easily as biting one's lip or tongue.

Tayuya is overrated because Kishi wanted to showcase Brotherly teamwork, rather than individual ability in the Kabuto fight, so people think that genjutsu would have done something to them at all. Not to mention that it was SM boosted.

His genjutsu is overrated in the versus colosseum. When we put characters against one another we aren't just arguing feats but what they should also be capable of. No experienced high level opponents are being defeated by anything bar some high level MS technique yet some people think finger genjutsu and genjutsu through crow clones will defeat them. I agree, his feats rank him the best but when people start saying little shit like that wrecks top tiers (especially if they have no feats of breaking a genjutsu, they love to play that card) its overrated.

Kabuto only succeeded in trapping Itachi and Sasuke with Tayuya's flute because his attacks are 10 times more powerful due to SM...
Normal Tayuya would never be able to do that.
