When a persons heart stop yes, their "clinically dead" but your body as whole isn't.
Resuscitation > Clinical Death (not definite death)
When Sakura figured that Naruto's heart wasn't beating she stoped using mystical palm and went into resuscitation which kept him alive and she never stopped pumping her heart until Naruto's body received the necessary chakra.
Sakura was tasked with keeping Naruto alive while Garra got Naruto's body to Minato to transfer the Kyubi's chakra into his body which would have saved his life.. Scans Below..

Naruto being an uzumaki and having obtained Senjutsu of six paths + Rikudou Yang chakra(Pure life force) got an easy way through the channel of death and came back to life. What sakura did was to keep his heart beating by doing by her own hands thats all.

Karin confirmed Sasuke's death. Can't feel his chakra, so unless Sasuke was trying to hide his chakra on his death bed he was dead. Kabuto revived him.
Naruto died too his heart stopped. Sakura made it work manually until Obito/Bijuuchakra revived him.

"Not definite death" ? This alone implies a person was dead at a given moment. Naruto was lucky for not coming back with severe brain damage, on the other hand, he eventually married Hinata..
Just to enlighten your concepts of medicine..
Clinically dead as far as can be ascertained by a clinical examination the patient is dead. There is no pulse, no respiratory movement and no corneal reflex = DEAD.
Resuscitation is the procedure of restoring your vital functions back because you were DEAD.
