Naruto doesn't have 700 chapters, only 699

I just remembered, Kishi tried so hard to finish the manga on chapter 700, but there are only 699 chapters of Canon Naruto manga.

Anyone else know why?

I admit it, I was pretty surprised to see a female Uchiha. I always thought Kishi was only good at creating Male Uchihas, now we have too see how he is going to develop Sarada.
