[Theory] Enel and logia awakenings

I'll make this short. We all know about how Oda likes to hint things waaay before they actually have any actual relevance in the story. Back in Skypea arc many things were foreshadowed. Haki is one example.
In Enel's last moments of fighting luffy he did something interesting with his Goro Goro no mi powers. Something which no other Logia type has shown except Enel himself.

I think that this could perhaps be Awakening related. We've suspected that Logia types could permanently change the environment around them (Kuzan Vs Akainu at PH). I believe it's true but what if a Logia Awakening also allows the user to transform into a monstrous beast of his element? I mean if Enel had Haki back then then an Awakening wouldn't come as a surprise.

Well Enel is like Crocodile. His way stronger then what he appeared at first. Due to plot, he absolutely had to lose to that weak luffy. Oda even said that his bounty would be 500 million if he came down to the sea. You don't think it's strange that a pre gear and haki luffy can beat a Logia with haki? Don't judge Enel's capabilities off what we saw. Plot ruined him.

Enel will come back. His DF is too badass not too.

Regarding the post I agree that perhaps awakening means different things for different devil fruits. Perhaps its just a way of saying that the user has fully mastered his DF ala Doffy.

No, he lost because of his ego and his weak endurance, not plot. He would have been 500 million beri just because he could destroy islands, that weren't occupied by tough opponents. If he tried that in Dressrosa, DD would have wrecked him.

Thunder and wind god are rivals. Notice the parallel with Naruto ?

To make it more obvious. Also notice the tomoe on the drums which are represented in the sharingan.

Luffy's stance also has the smoke wrapped over his shoulders and behind his back like the scarfs they often draw these gods with. Also the black outline around the eyes and the muscular physique.

So yes, it's not an coincedence that luffy's posture looks the same. As the matter of fact these references to gods are quite common.
