So far in Gaiden he took more interest in Sarada.
He is cheering her up.
Spending time with her.
Comforting her.

He isn't bothering enough to wait Boruto who is bringing his dinner prepared by his wife.
Not bothering to teach him properly
Sending him off to his friend.

He is claiming Hokage's duty is to treat everyone in the village as family. That hokage needs to be a parent to all children in the village. But he is being fatherly to everyone except Boruto

Maybe he is jealous of Boruto because he was a looser at his age and Boruto is a prodigy, what do you think ?

Sarada chased after him and ended up getting attacked. Naruto had to protect her. And knowing she was a target, he made her stay with him. It' not that naruto like Sarada more. It's just that you've seen more of Sarada so far because of the plot.
