This theory will explain how the little pink haired coby will become an admiral later on in the series.
As we all know it was cobys dream to become a marine and then an admiral. Like luffy he is a man who chases his dreams and achives them throough hard work.He has become a marine trained by the legendary monkey d garp early in the series. Later on in the marineford arc he awakened his haki. This was a big step from him as gaining haki opened a huge list of possibilities for him.
I believe that that during the timeskip he kept on traing with monkey d garp with the use of his haki. Thus Coby must have become much stronger for the following reasons
1.Training with garp the hero
2. Making huge progress quickly
3. His dream of becoming an admiral
Coby most likely have recently become a vice admiral. He probably is not one of the stronger vice adm irals though. I would say he is probably weaker than the likes of smoker. None or the less he has gotten a lot stronger since part1 of one piece.
So how will Coby become an admiral?
It will happen after the second timeskip. A second time skip has to happen for luffy to become strong and experienced enough to be a pirate king. 19 is too young to be pirate king. Also coby is too young and not strong enough to become an admiral. So what will happen prior to the second timeskip that will make coby become an admiral later on?
Blackbeard and Kuzan! As we know Kuzan has left the marines and isknown to be doing some shady business with the pirate underworld. We know that he is somehow connected to the blackbeard piartes. But how? What needs to be taken into consideration are 2 things
1.Aokiji's apperance in punk hazard
2.Burgess speaking with blackbeard in the dressrosa colloseum
As we know in punk hazard aokiji confronted doflamingo and stopped him from killing smoker. Adter doing so he told smoker to warn sazuaki about an upcoming danger that will be the worst danger he has ever faced. That proved that despite dealing with the underworld Kuzan has not changed. He may not want want to work under akainu however he is not working for the benefit of the blackbeard pirates. He is infiltrating the blackbeard pirates to prevent their attack on the navy hq.
However Blackbeard has plot armour. He cannot be stopped so easily. He will only gain stronger. At the last moment aokiji will try to stop blackbeards attack but...he will fail. Teach will kill aokiji but will not take his devil fruit ability
Why? Because at this point all his crew memebers will have a strong devil fruit.
Who will be near by though? the marines...including vice admiral coby. Aokiji's ice ice fruit will appear near his body. Coby will be furious that teach killed kuzan and he will eat the ice ice devil fruit. This will give him a big power boost.
Then there will be the 2nd timeskip. During the course of this timeskip coby will master the hax ability of the ice ice fruit. After the timeskip luffy will be shown a newspaper by sanji saying'Take a look at this captain' The newspaper will have a picture of coby saying' Admiral Ice Coby has gained yet another victory over the pirates in the new world'
Then luffy will smile and say'Well done Coby! I knew you would become an admiral. Become stronger and fight me!'
