I don't get why Mest is so upset, can't he just alter the memories of everyone present, he has performed greater feats with his abilities.

Even if he can't, its not like they are in imperial territory yet, they don't have to worry about larger forces till they get there.

And a rescue mission would require them to beat up the guards along the way anyway, so the Empire was going to find out eventually.

And as for Wendy, I was wondering if she would start to suffer from motion sickness, nice to see it finally happen.

It was nice to see my earlier theory that Fairy Tail wants to avoid war at all costs was correct, furthers my biggest theory for the arc that the Empire is being manipulated by God Serena and he is going to be the true villain of the arc and is trying to push the Empire to invade.

Cana offering to flirt with Juvia was the best thing about this chapter, seriously though I want to see Laxus.

I figured something like that would happen, actually I thought Natsu was gonna blow their cover, but their cover won't be blown becouse MEST is there with them, he wil simply erase evryone memory of that little inciden I think.

And they will continue with their infiltration mission, now I found out that Gajeel power up is normal compared to the others, he not that strong afterall, I knw he might have used his brain but that's signs of being a coward even if the odd are against you.

He practically said they got 0% of winning that something I expected to hear from the likes of Levy, Lucy e.t.c.....to hear it from Gajeel its somehow an understatement....when they meet up with Laxus I think he will want to fight instead of stealth mission.

This mission will turn to a brawl in the end of it, and Fairy tail will win, the way they treat their Citizen shows that they are mostly Dark Guilds in that Kingdom, and Fairy Tail always kick ass when it come to the Dark guilds.

I don't knw why, but a have a feeling Crime sociare will assist Fairy tail in this Battle.

Dark Guilds are illegal guilds, if they are part of the military then they are legal in the Empire, so they technically aren't dark guilds, simply jerks.

The Saber Tooth guild (during GMG arc) and Phantom Lord Guild, were perfect examples of non Dark Guilds being jerks.

And when they said they would have 0% chance of winning, they meant if it turned into a full scale war, they can handle a smaller faction such as the 12 and probably several groups of foot soldiers and maybe a few other underlings.

Actually it just means that he's mature enough to know that they aren't strong to beat the enemies, if he was a coward he wouldn't have made team B nor would he even think about going there, Gajeel's power puts him above most of the people in team A except for natsu and mest. A full war with an army is indeed a losing fight for FT,noting is wrong with admitting it, matter of fact, it's better to expect the worst if you're fighting the unknown.

The spoilers were somewhat misleading, mest will probably clean up the mess, although I don't think mest can manipulate memories to large extent, I think only a small part of there memory
Next Chapter title is pretty interesting, law of space, probably a new enemy, or a the spy's ability?

Did you seriously expect them to let a small child be killed right in front of their eyes? Besides considering they said the kid's father is rebellious, he might have a future use like giving thorough info on the AE and/or help them to sneak into the empire or something along those lines.

And Gajeel was just flirting with Levi and the only thing Cana did was making fun of other people, so if you're then nitpicking on Natsu's lame joke because of Makarov's situation, then you're just complaining for the sake of complaining. Comedy has always been a part of this series and they're barely halfway to the border of the AE.

I think it's safe to assume there is a limit to Mest's magic. If he freely could make everyone forget/remember anything, his mission shouldn't have taken that long, still it took him almost a decade. It might be enough to cover this incident up, but it's highly doubtful he can just start brainwashing an entire empire or just about any strong mage.

I agree. What i think is that kid's father may be the spy they are trying to meet up with, who will provide inside out info about the Alvarez empire.
