well sasuke could avoid gai`s attacks with amenotejikara but the question is for how long and how many times he would be able to untill his ability cooldown begins

he can protect himself with susanoo but would get hammered hard....all i can see sasuke doing is defending himself untill gai`s attacks exhaust him

i think sasuke could pull it off in the end but it would be intense

If gai uses evenin elephant then it cant protect him even with susanoo...evening elephant does an insane amount of damage..u could see it even made a deep hole underground and as madara says 4-5 shots can be bad

madara had truth seeking balls to protect him and even with tht he was wounded very bad

Evening elephant alone will be too powerful for sasukes susano especially without truth seeking balls as truth seeking balls wasnt able to protect madara

My only answer to sasuke winning is using genjutsu or dimensional travelling

Or he should think of attacking him before he goes to 8th gate as it takes sometime

After he goes to 8th gate there is no way to stop him as hes insanely fast...even madara wasnt able to use truth seeking balls properly because he was too fast

If gai uses night elephant then it cant protect him even with susanoo...evening elephant does a huge amount of damage

i know...what i thought was sasuke coating himself with PS only to protect himself as PS will definitely be crushed and pushed backwards...in that little time sasuke has he can teleport somewhere else,rebuild a susanoo and try to fly away with it to avoid gai`s attacks

however gai was seen kicking through air to be able to catch up to madara so any chances sasuke has are minimal at best

i feel only his amenotejikara can save him and even that is questionable as he can not use a lot of times anyway

If Sasuke and Gai start off in a distance with Gai gates deactivated then Sasuke should attack him quickly using like the Susanoo Arrow and finish him off

Or Sasuke casts rinnegan genjutsu on gai and then finishes him off

There is not a single way to protect himself if gai goes to 8th gates..even with amenotejikara..as amenotejikara has a cooldown period and when gai misses he can instantly dash towards sasuke with his speed...

So sasukes best bet is to finish him off before he activates his gates..like Arrow,Amaterasu..

Sasuke is smart for this so i say sasuke wins this if started off face to face with gates deactivated

However if Gai is on 8th gate then Gai wins this

yes i agree

only chance sasuke has against gai is if he stops him before he enters 8th gate

or if he had dimension travelling or bijuu PS

restrict dimensions and strip him of his bijuu PS and he will have a hard time surviving against 8th gate guy
