Please explain to me how Perfect Jinchiruki are immune to genjutsu again?
Ty & Itachi solos
The Tailed beast Kai's the Jinchuriki effectively disrupting his chakra and releasing the Genjutsu.
Ephemeral is not exclusive to Itachi's fingers, I don't even know where this idea came from. Itachi was saying that all he needed is a single finger for Genjutsu. That is not to say he cannot cast Genjutsu with any other body part he desires. He claims it's not just these eyes [x], meaning it can be anything at all. This is evident by saying "if I just have one finger, that is enough" insinuating that a finger is the least amount required for him to initiate a Genjutsu.

Comparing Itachi's jutsu to Infinite Tsukiyomi. Oh my sides.
He countered your argument. You said Perfect Jin's are immune to genjutsu and that scan clearly shows that Bee is susceptible genjutsu.
Furthermore, Itachi has already caught Bee inside genjutsu here:

And against Tsukuyomi, it would be impossible for a Perfect Jin to cancel the genjutsu since the effects happen instantly:

But this is Naruto Base. So go ahead and post your irrelevant rebuttal.
Sure, as long as you tell me how Itachi is comparable to Kaguya.
100% agree, been saying this myself. Nice thread cuz.
Tsukuyomi and Tsukiyomi are both commonly used in Japanese mythology. Kishi's Amateratsu, 'Tsukuyomi' and Susano are only a few of the things influenced by it. u mad

Re: An Analysis of Itachi's Genjutsu

Niceee, thought I was onto something new lmao
Haha, well I never really exploited it like you did. I believe I mentioned it in a Gai Vs Itachi thread... Just because Gai can effectively fight without gazing into Itachi's eyes, doesn't devoid him from getting caught by Ephemeral; which logically speaking, shouldn't be restricted to just Itachi's finger, as you pointed out. And that goes for everyone, really. Far too often I see it being mentioned that a combatant will simply avoid eye contact with Itachi and rely on sensing, for example. Like nah brah, his genjutsu will still solo.
Nice analysis, especially regarding Ephemeral. I've always thought that during "finger genjutsu", logically, Itachi's finger becomes the catalyst for some kind of chakra which is what allows the illusion to be cast via that part of his body in the first place. And since shinobi have been known toYou must be registered for see links, this opens the door to endless casting possibilities for Ephermeral.
No Izanami, though? Regardless, great thread.
Don't compare that fodder Kaguya to lord itachi her Infinite Tsukuyomi couldn't even be casted upon edos regardless having 9 bijuu, holy tree, rinnengan etc Itachi was able to breakout of edo tensei control with his holy powers manga fact lmao
