I could just hire only women, pay them significantly less than men, for the same exact quality work. No tradeoff. A perfect loophole in the system.

I could be an instant millionare doing this since it seems other people haven't caught on yet. Genius..

No need to hire men at all since it's the same thing, but only more expensive.


I wonder how men would even be hired if there is a cheaper and equivalent alternative....

Depends upon the industry you get hired ! I worked as an Electrical Engineer for over an year i can tell you men are hired for more task force for erecting a Transmission line rather than woman . It depends upon number of hours you give the company profits .

Apparently gender bias is just excuse term for Women organisation for equal payment they don't see the demand and utility company really needs .

I used to think pay should be equal for the same work. Now that I'm working, my company has 9 months maternity leave at 50% pay. They get half their paycheck every month and don't have to work. I'm ok with women making less

Not to sound sexist here, but they hire men for that lower cost because they work much more efficiently and diligently than women. This idea still sounds stupid to me.

Because they are cultivating the next generation of salves for the capitalist system! The next generation. Who will pay a life time of tax to render a couple of $maternity pay$ insignificant
