Fate/Stay UBW. Archer and Shirou cycle.

Do you think young Archer did the same thing as Shirou when he participated in the Holy Grail War as a mage?
I mean he fought and convinced his future self (just like Shirou). Then he started to regret it and history just repeated itself.

No. Archer is Shirou from a parallel universe/world. The events that happen to Shirou didn't happen to Archer. There was no CG Emiya in his war.

Its like what he said. Archer is Shirou from a parallel world. What happened to Archer in his HG war is different from shirou and unknown to us. FSN is already divided in three routes, Fate, UBW and Heaven's feel(parallel worlds). In Fate and HF route, he never had this idealogical clash with his future self, he didn't even know Archer and he himself are the same person.

Archer failed to save Saber(fate shirou didn't), had the circuits in his whole arm burned when he first used projection while nothing of the sort ever happened to Shirou. Just like that Archer went through different events with the same people in his war.
