[Discussion] Current luffy in the marineford war

If we have current luffy with g4 and everything, how do you guys think the war would have fared?

Ace would be alive and this would cause a butterfly effect that would make current Luffy weaker than is counterpart.

It would not change anything he would still lose to people like Mihawk and the admirals. May be if he had his whole crew it could of made a difference since zoro and sanji are also strong.

Ace still would of died. It wasn't Luffy's fault that Ace died, Ace took Akainu's words personally and decided to stop running to fight him. They still had 2 healthy admirals so I doubt it'd change that much.

well ace died protecting luffy from akainu's punch.

if luffy had g4 back then, he could have blitzed his way thru everyone while they were busy fighting

the only one who would have been able to intercept his speed in g4 would have been kizaru, and he was busy with marco.

It would have been the same outcome. G4 Luffy would still get blown away by an admiral. Replace Marineford Luffy with G4 Luffy when he confronted the 3 admrials, Luffy would've still been dusted. Luffy would still need to be saved from Mihawk as well. Akainu would've still killed Ace and Luffy mind would be crushed.

People seem to forget that G4 is a last resort, cant be maintained for long and that Luffy will be helpless. Ivankov would have to give him more energy hormones.

They would have held the marines back til Shanks comes and stops the war. Leaving Ace and Whitebeard still alive.

Luffy only survived that war because WB took care of him, he made paths he protected him and he did everything to get Luffy to Ace.

Luffy was a wildcard that the marines didn't count on and didn't see him as a threat.

If current Luffy would be in the war he would get targeted right away like the other big players. Luffy still wouldn't be able to make a difference since he could barely could go toe to toe with Doflamingo with a lot of help from Law and everybody in Dressrosa.

Current Luffy might do worse in this scenario than past Luffy.

lol, it was an execution not a war. The pirates made it a war. If Shanks would show up before Ace was executed he would still get executed because otherwise it would defeat the purpose of fighting and it would make the marines look weak.

So if Shanks shows up before the marines finished what they needed to do, he would stop nothing. The marines keep on fighting until at least Ace is dead. Whitebeard might survive.

He wouldn't no, you're right... But he'd still get angered by Akainu sullying Whitebeard's name and would probably still die.

I think the outcome would have been the exact same, except Luffy comes out in a bit of a better condition.

Luffy's strength or weakness had nothing to do with why Ace died, he would have lived if he hadn't given in to Akainu's mocking.

I think Ace still would have died, just not by protecting Luffy.

If Law had been there as well it would have been different. He could have swapped Ace back into the ship or something, to safety. He would have made the difference.

Luffy would of died once he faced off with the 3 admirals

Garp would of been twice as pissed and probably let his anger get himself killed by sengoku and the admirals

Honestly luffy would of done worse with G4 at marineford. He pretty much can't even move after using G4
