I'll admit, after is chapter, this is the first time in a long time that I actually respected her character, it was nice seeing those flashbacks.

Except that she is. A parent isn't the one who genes you share, it's the one who love you, clothed you, shelter you, fed you, nurse you when you're sick, and is there for you when you need them. Karin can be the "birth mother" but she is far a mother to Salada. I called my "birth father" sperm donor for the same reason and call my uncle dad for the reasons listed.

seeing as though it was already out there for a month or so that Sakura raised her alone, i didn't need to read pages of flashbacks to reinforce it. That's part of what i love about Geoff Johns writing a comic...very few pages or chapters are/were wasted on rehashing something the reader already knows.

I have started respecting her character after this chapter too, Kishi did a good job. But I do wish that sakura should be the real mother,but now it doesn't matter much as sakura has nurtured sarada pretty well she is the true mother even if she has not given birth to sarada.
