What was Obito reason for helping murder the Uchiha Clan

Madara for some reason didn't seem bothered that his clan was killed off , but it didn't seem like he wanted obito to kill the Uchiha Clan . Madara also said to Sasuke lets not kill each other were both Uchiha . But Sasuke being SASUKE said he wants to retrieve his Clan but has illogically reasoning he kills Itachi , wants to kill Madara and when Obito dies he doesn't give a chit . So why did Obito help murder the Uchiha Clan instead of helping the revolt with Obito there it would of been plausible as Itachi cant take on the 3rd hokage , danzo and the three sannin by himself with Obito with Itachi they would of won . Forget that fodder shisui he couldnt handle the anbu and danzo by himself , no wonder Itachi had no faith . But obito and itachi together could of made the Uchiha clan successful , even if the rest of uchiha are fodders obito and itachi after defeating the strongest opponents like kakashi, gai ,3rd hokage ,danzo,tsunade, jiraya,orchimaru could deal with rest quickly .

Because Obito wanted Itachi for the Akatsuki. He apparently had no real ties to the clan and Madara resented them somewhat for not rebelling with him, so he also thought he was keeping up appearances. Madara had no real attachment to the clan because he was just going to make everyone he loved who was dead appear in his "dream world". Same rationalization Obito made when he tried to kill Kakashi.

Madara already told Hashirama they were going to end up dead decades before it happened, so it wasn't like he was inclined to care about it once he knew it happened. In any case, Obito probably did it out of his abandonment issues, getting carried away with using Madara's identity, or both. It was pretty much the driving force behind everything else he had culpability in.

Obito didn't care about the uchihas. Seeing as he was responsible for putting them under the microscope after the kyuubi attack.

He also used it as an opportunity to recruit Itachi.
