Underwater explosions create shockwaves that pass through the skin and protective armament in order to rip apart your blood vessels, muscle tissue, brain, etc. and can cause death at the moment of injury depending on your luck. Deidara who can recreate underwater explosion has absolutely no chance of losing this, even if Kisame is lucky to not die instantenously in the first explosion.

First of all, no.

Databook calls Hirudora condensed Air Pressure. What explodes is the air pressure that was condensed. In no way does it work like an explosion or it's properties. Moot point. Who ever has the translation of Hirudora's DB page can link it now right here. Itani already linked it on Skype before you left.

Also, Kisame gets outside injuries. Underwater explosion shockwaves don't give you outside injuries. It only damages the inside because it passes through the skin.

Second of all, you can't feel underwater shockwaves while being a good few meters outside of water. That tells me the ''shockwave'' (which isn't shockwave, but rather air pressure) occured outside of the water. More so, what Yamato and co braced for was air pressure just like when Shikamaru and co braced for the air pressure against Kakuzu's fuuton.

Third of all, your Manda 2 point cannot be applied to human beings. It is a snake that easily towers over Bijuu, let alone human beings, has strong skin, massive organs, etc. and has been modified by Kabuto. We know absolutely nothing what so ever as to what Kabuto did to it's insides or how it would react to underwater shockwaves because such a snake never existed and never will exist in real life.

No one ever linked the DB page :lol I was going off based on what was said in the manga then, but yeah then I guess you're right, although that's not far off from an explosion at all .-.
