[Debate] fights in anime vs fights in tv shows

which one do you enjoy the most ,irrespective of the plot
tv shows include all types of tv shows related to action like
arrow, vampire diaries , got etc

personally ,i prefer anime action over tv shows, specially the good animated animes, like tg , aot , few fights from naruto ,ft ,bleach ,op , dbz , guilty crown , psycho pass etc

Tv and movie fights are so clunky and choreographed. They move slow and dull and the camera angle is constantly changing everytime someone gets hit and its always moving so you can barely see.
Anime fights are fast paced and detailed so that a lot of cools scenes are coming all at once. If movies followed action sequences in anime, I'd watch a lot more movies.

Have u ever seen this ? It's not as realistic as your scene but it's up there with best taijutsu

Have to agree with Riker. But other than Daredevil, I've barely seen any good fighting in tv shows, so Anime takes this by far for me.

Yeah. That rapid punch was intense, Ip Man is a beast. This scene also>every Naruto fight scene.

the fight is realistic, but not on the same level as lee vs gaara, or thats just my opinion
even the sword fights in tv shows are so poor , anime sword fights on the other hand is just...epic

Sword fights in movies and series feel much more realistic and flowing
Take this for example
The fluency in this is just perfect whilst in anime I find it very limited in cases of hand to hand combat or sword fights
if we mention superpowers I prefer anime over RT

i meant in a general pov, bcoz look at got sword fights, being one of the best series ever produced,the sword fights are so lackluster, the hype for eddard starc vs jammie lannister was too much, if it were a anime ,it would have been way better fight

Movie/serie fights have to be careographed so they are really hard to give a sense of realism. In anime/animation fights the fiction has its own reality so the given reality of fight does not feel forced unlike the scenes with actual humans.

But for example Olivia ve Olivia from Fringe was a good fight.

I can honestly say it's not a cut and dry choice. The medium isn't important it's the action. More often than not animated or cgi can get more in a fight because the characters are not restricted by physics. However when a good choreographer and fighters come together they can do just as amazing things, like Daredevil and a number of kung fu movies.
