Finally found the raw of Sasuke’s apology! He says: “Sumanakatta… Karin” (“I’m sorry… Karin” - edit: takL, from nf, translated it as “my apologies… Karin”.)
Where “sumanakatta” is the past form of “sumanai”. Here are some posts about it (keep in mind these are just the posters opinions, plus they’re about the real-life usage of the word and not its manga counterpart - but I’m sharing them to give a better perspective of the word):
About “sumanakatta” (what Sasuke said):
“I’d say the only situation when I can imagine that being said is by a man to his woman/girlfriend. When/if says it, he really means it sincerely.
So I’d say it’s "casual/familiar” speech that you should not use outside your own family (provided you are a guy).“

済まない (sumanai) Now this sounds very sincere. Someone has done something really bad and irreversible, and regrets it.. I haven’t heard it that often really. The more casual すまん (suman) is used often.

For that Karin & Sakura are even (Sasuke acknowledging their efforts) as well as Sasuke denouncing their efforts, but those aren't acts of intimacy.

That entire situation could be associated with comradery.

I'm not sure why your so hung up on this "Intimacy" thing (guess it's the only argument you have).

Choji and Karui as far as i remember shared no panel time together, had pretty much zero interaction with each other, Yet kishi made them a thing.
So kishi doesn't really need to show intimacy between characters for them to have a child together.
