Wouldn't she have just taken it with her if she moved to another hideout?

Maybe she's not at the other hideout permanently. Maybe she travels between the different hideouts to complete assignments...that's why she has a desk at Oro's hideout...that's probably the base. No need to pack up all her stuff if she's going to return.
