Because firstly, when I said "fast as f*** movements", I was referring to Itachi's body movements, which are undeniably faster than Minato's (even the Sharingan can't keep up). I was clearly not referring to Itachi's foot speed, which I know is slower than Minato's. And there's absolutely no point in comparing Itachi's body movements to Minato's distance covering ability. Doesn't make sense...

Secondly (on top of the above mentioned irrelevant comparison), I was talking about Minato's attempt to mark Itachi, which obviously means that he hasn't already marked him, which in turn means Minato can't even use FTG against Itachi, which means no "fastest shinobi ever" applicable here (because FTG is the basis of Minato's "fastest shinobi ever" title). And without FTG, Minato is just as good as his foot speed which isn't that impressive against Itachi, because it can easily be dealt with using the Sharingan. So Minato gets no benefit of being the fastest shinobi in this regard.

Also, Itachi's fast movements can deflect all the incoming marked kunais (attempts to use FTG) or any other attack by Minato.

Are you that thick? I know what you are talking about and my point remains.

Where in the manga shows Itachi's incredibly fast body movements? To such a degree that the sharingan can't keep up and these movements can compete with the likes of the fastest shinobi in existence? I recognize Itachi's speed, shunshin speed and foot speed all being quite high however I'm really not sure where you are coming from here. Body movement speeds are hardly ever explicitly highlighted in the manga. Also, what difference does it make noting Minato's foot speed when you mentioned yourself that his speed lies in his FTG? Also you forget Minato's reflexes are on a whole level of his own, they were far superior to Obito's reflexes, yes, a sharingan user; soloed him in seconds. Also, you forget that he was able to keep up with and react to both full raiton Ay and Bee's attacks when Sasuke was struggling to keep up with just Ay.

As for FTG, you treat it as if it is useless if Itachi is unmarked and even if you think that somehow Minato's attempts at marking Itachi will be poor/unlikely, you have overlooked something so simple as Minato being able to spread his kunai around the battlefield able to teleport to any desired location, therefore being ALMOST untargetable. So what if he somehow can't manage to mark Itachi for whatever reason? Itachi wouldn't be able to lay a finger on him.
