Ok 3 things that are killing the gaiden

1.The uchiha family drama,(the theme is so played out,just hope they get it over with quickly,)

2.The shin-zetsu like theme who happen to have sharingans,(really aren't there other ideas for unique badguys)

3.The lack of screen time for the other new gen kids,(I mean yh almost everyone likes the idea of a female main character but u don't have to go around ignoring the other new gen kids, we are not even shown of how the preparation of the chunin exam is coming up)


I mean I was suprised when I heard about the naruto gaiden, although I thought it was going to be intresting since it's about the new gen kids and all,but from what I have seen it's like kishi is doing this to make more bucks.

so guys, what are your thoughts?

The gaiden is just a preparation for the movie so yeah, and kishi gave NH a whole movie so he had to make some development for SS too(which quit ironically turned out to be shit).

I really hope they can move past this Uchiha family and sharingan bullshit. It seems the sharingan is the most important thing ever created in the world. We get it, it has good powers, but honestly, I prefered Kimmimaru's bone technique to the sharingan. Lets see something new now! Remember Genjutsu? what ever happened to that ninja style? Is anko going to run a crazy ass chunin exam again? Maybe shino will make some crazy bug maze? Why wont he write more on this? I wish he would do a gaiden about the second round chunin exams while naruto left, id like to see how neji was promoted to jounin and how all the rest became chunin and started leading small ninja teams on their own.

I totally agree about the sharingan part. What made this series so great was the amount of different clans it had. One would have thought we would get to know them all one by one. Yet all Kishi did was wank the Uchiha clan through out the manga. Making it the most developed yet most forced clan in the manga.

When talking about making a money/bucks, what is the difference here. People want to said this bad writting was because Kishi just want to make more money but writting good story also can gave Kishi money and I think more.

Is this logic about writting bad story=just for making money is right?

Or people like OP for example just thrown this logic without thinking rationally?
