I'm using Aburame Panthalassa.

Terrain: A large system of caverns that used to hold magma but has been drained since. All the walls are very smooth to the touch and there's all sorts of junctions and tunnels all around. The entire cave is mid-ranged radius from the centre, past that there's a 100 meters drop to a lake of lava, hundreds of meters all around. This would be around Iwagakure, I'd say.

Panthalassa stepped into deeper into the caverns, following his sensei. They stopped, mid-range from each other. This was the time to be serious, Panthalassa thought, and so he wore his most serious expression. He is in his default look, with every weapon hidden, including his insects. Unbeknownst to his Sensei, he would initiate Symbiosis, while greeting him.

( Aburame no Hijutsu: Kyousei ) Insect Hidden Technique: Symbiosis
Type: Supplementary

Chakra Cost: 30 (+5 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique utilizes the principles of the Insect Cocoon technique to induce a rapid reproduction of the host's insects. This is an advanced and more costly version of that technique, establishing a chakra-saturated environment during the rapid-breeding phase of the insect's development. This shifts their feeding habits into needed less chakra to stay alive and function, since they have an abundance of easily available food, but require a constant contact with it. Practical speaking, after the Symbiosis is complete, the insects, for 8 turns, will require the user to passively feed them a small quantity of chakra per turn ( 5 ), but, in turn, will require less chakra, half as much, for Insect Manipulation techniques, without hindering their strength and efficacy. This is a mutualistic trade-off between the host and the insects through the duration of the technique.

Note: After Symbiosis, cost of all insect techniques is halved ( x1/2 ).
Note: The user is unable to perform any other technique the same turn Symbiosis is performed, nor have any active insect swarm outside of his body.
Note: Alternatively, the user divides the initial infusion of chakra in two, and is able to perform the Symbiosis in two turns, allowing him to perform one other technique, without manipulation of the insects, each turn.
Note: At any point, the user is able to perform the Insect Cocoon technique, ending the effects of Symbiosis and re-establishing the default nutritional needs and behaviours.
Note: Effects of the Symbiosis lasts 8 turns, after which the user is unable to use Forbidden techniques for 2 turns and S ranked Insect techniques for 1 turn.
Note: Can only be used three times per battle.

Dean looks at his student, who became quite powerful around now. He kept his eye on him, as he knew better than to look away when facing a bug user. Their terrain was quite unorthodox, a dark cavern. A nice place for Dean to test him. Without the need for hand seals, Dean activates a passive technique, which would make his Earth techniques filled with mud. A technique Dean hoped he would really have to use.

"Panthalassa... This is a place of legend, where two great warriors apparently fought. Their power was so great, that they actually changed the terrain. If you ask me though, I think its just an old cave, but you know. Anyway, let us begin."

Dean squinted his eyes, as he shows Panthalassa to start off.

Description: The user will gather their earth chakra and manipulate it so it activates an ability; where certain structures of earth techniques when protruded from the ground, out of the user's body or from the sky, will have either- sticky adhesive mud or flammable like substance of mud, infused inside the body of the solid structure as a passive ability when being released (still costs a move). What this means is the structure of earth will have the same appearance physically but instead of being completely solid will have a substantial amount of mud inside its physical structure masking its appearance from the opponent's view (will not fool certain dojutsus and sensory). The structure will be able to remain stable since the mud will be compressed and its body structure will still be solid allowing it to remain its base of movement and operation. This technique has some different characteristics which allows it to be of use. The first basic ability is how the user is able to manipulate the sap of mud to be released out of the structure of earth oozing out of its body (the earth structure's body). What makes this significant is, for example, if one was pierced by a stone spike, the user can literally now force the spike to ooze mud out of its structure and into the body of the opponent injecting them with the mud or even around the body restricting their movement. However, when this concept is used, the structure of earth will no longer be of use for manipulation purposes since the mud will literally overtake its body as it oozes out. The second basic ability is, where the user will literally have the mud inside of the body of the earth structure ooze outward in similar fashion, however this mud is flammable mud. Large amount of mud can (however has limitations and dependability) flood the battlefield and restrict anything coming into contact (for the adhesive mud) or be used to set up an explosion (flammable mud) with the use of external resources such as fire attacks, explosive tags, etc. The flammable mud can not be set by itself. The amount of mud that can be infused in the structure of earth mainly corresponds with just how large the structure is. In some cases this can harm the opponent as well if the mud comes into contact with the user themselves. The user can also infuse mud into more then one construct but with more chakra cost required.

Yes, Sensei!

In one fell swoop, Panthalassa brought his left hand to a pouch at his waist, shooting a kunai straight upwards, that lodges into the ceiling above him. Attached to the kunai's ring is one paper flash bomb, that detonates right after rising above Panthalassa's head, distracting from the fact that he had raised his right hand and shot two spiralling spears of flies right in the direction of his Sensei's chest, and of course, also serves to blind him with the bright light. Hiden at the core of each spear are several paper bombs. After shooting the spears, Panthalassa moves to the left, still paying close attention to you and his attack, and keeping his distance while he circles around

Suddenly, Panthalassa threw a kunai upwards, which suddenly lighted up. A massive flash of light came from it, which temporarily blinded Dean, as he focused his Sound based chakra to his ears, and releasing a low frequency from his mouth which allow the sound waves to bounce off objects, and basically enhance his hearing. His eyes were now temporarily useless, but with the use of this technique, Dean could hear the sound of insects heading towards him and even the footsteps of his student, as they dashed forward. Dean smiles, as he focuses his Lightning based chakra to his right hand, and launches forward a ball of compressed Lightning, which explodes once it hits the spears of flies (also setting off the explosive tags, of course). Without any trouble, Dean dashes forward as he had thrown the ball of Lightning. His sight returns, as he sees Panthalassa dash towards him too, and he smiles.

"It seems you aren't afraid."

Then, by utilizing chakra and enfacing his lungs, the user will be able to control the frequency and intensity of the sound emitted from his simple breathing. This low frequency, inaudible sound is passively emitted and has no effect other than emerging from him and bouncing off of objects. Using the enhanced hearing, the user is able to know where everything is around them, effectively creating a sonar effect through the rebound and reflection of sound waves. The hearing and the sonar effect is precise enough so that one can effectively use it to substitute one's vision in battle if needed. Despite being very effective, specially if the user has any of his other senses hindered, it also leaves the user vulnerable to sound genjutsu or sound attacks which will be much more drastic in its effects.

As his opponent sends the lighting ball towards the spears, and, he noted, not towards him, Panthalassa instantly makes the spears split apart, turning each into a clone of himself allowing the unopposed lightning ball to hurl towards the empty cave where Panthalassa is no longer standing. Each clone holds several tags inside him.

Description: The user creates up to 3 clones made out of his Kikaichū bugs or any nearby bugs under his control. The clones can use all Aburame jutsus up to S-rank and have the ability in which the bugs that they are made of can suddenly burst out straight towards a target mid range from them when they disperse.

As Dean turns towards Panthalassa, and dashes towards him, the left-most clone spins around, intercepting him with a high rotating kick with his right leg, to hit the Nekura's forehead with the back of his foot, pushing him into the ground. At the same time, Panthalassa and the right-most clone perform a combination attack. Panthalassa unleashes a mass of male flies into the ceiling of the caverns, quickly feeling ground and air with a chaotic cloud of insects, while the right-most clone induces a quick growth of each of the flies that is participating in the attack, having them shed their exoskeleton to serve as a shield that boosts their resistance up 1 rank. The cloud pushes the man while restricting all his movement, dealing indiscriminate damage and stealing chakra, exploding onto him past the clone.

(Kikaichū Dōmu no bakuhatsu no Jutsu ) - Destruction Bug Dome Explosion Technique

Description: Exuviae is a variant of the Insect Cocoon technique, applying the same principles of the concept by focusing chakra through the user's insects and accelerate their growth. The user will signal any active swarm , and nourish the insects with chakra, which will induce the rapid shedding and regeneration of their exoskeleton, multiplying the perceived amount of insects inside the swarm. These will be lifeless, but will behave like a barrier that will instantaneously protect the swarm from any one encounter, by doubling the defence properties of the insects by one rank ( Aburame Insects are normally weak to Elemental Ninjutsu besides Wood and other soft biological elements and strong to Raw Chakra ). This defense last the turn it is used or a single encounter, regardless of the difference in power ( stronger than the Exuviae Swarm will kill the swarm, weaker will neutralise the exoskeleton barrier ). Alternatively, due to the workings of the technique, the user is able to produce more chakra than the stated in the description of this technique, for a more direct approach against an opponent's technique, paying the chakra difference between the Swarm technique and the stronger opponent technique, plus an added +10 chakra, giving the swarm a defensive edge against boosted ninjutsu ( stat bonus, incremented combos, etc ). This will equalize the Exuviae Swarm, neutralizing the exoskeleton barrier and the opponent technique and carrying on the swarm itself, albeit weaker.

Note: Can only be used once every three turns.
Note: Boosted Exuviae can only be used three times.
Note: Boosted Exuviae is reliant on how much chakra the user spends on the technique, and works for any usage that would require more than 20 chakra ( which is the default cost of Exuviae, for the regular usage ) to equalize.
Note: Exuviae simply increases the defensive properties, not the damage output of any swarm technique.
Note: Alternative usage maxes out at +40 damage above an S rank.
Note: Can only be used by Aburame Clansmen.

Panthalassa keeps pouring out flies passively, indiscriminately, to fill the rest of the cave, and continues encircling his Sensei, while the right-most clone starts doing the same, closer, and from the right.

Dean smirks, as he stops his forward movement, and without the need for hand seals, he causes the ground beneath his student and clones to severely heat up, causing everything to melt, and would even destroy the clones with ease (this happens quite fast, and even if your clone does dash towards me, we are still somewhat mid range from each other).

Dean then throws a single explosive tagged kunai at his own student, as he then covers it with Wind chakra, causing everything to explode (if the Fire circle comes in contact with any Wind technique, it explodes), leaving a massive crater in the tavern.

Just touching the heated ground would make damage to the opponent. The heat waves would give a mirages so to say, similar to the wavy lines that could be seen whilst looking at longer distances in deserts. The katon chakra around opponent would be capable of staying there up to two turns before dispersing and thus loosing its effects. Interesting to the technique is that in the case of either opponent or user using technique based upon wind, the heatwave would burst into flames because of oxygen feeding fire.

I'd say so!

Panthalassa says, after making the clones. But as he replies, he feels the ground and the air quickly heat up. Instead of going for the combined attack, Panthalassa spreads his male flies through the floor as a direct counter to the fire technique, instead of waiting to synchronize it with the kick. The flies burst from all his clothes, propelling him into the air while continue on to attack the man, the whole swarm feeling up ground to ceiling in a very packed and tangible manner due to the proximity of both and the close space. The flies purge the heat from the ground, overpowering the technique, while the two clones fly upwards both due to the swarm they are composed of and then force of the male swarm, mingling with the chaotic insects.

Panthalassa keeps pouring out indiscriminate flies while manipulating the other ones. Meanwhile, simultaneous with Panthalassa's swarm emission, as the ground heats up, the right-most clone that was going to kick Dean instead charges water chakra into the ground, as he flies upwards, turning the whole pit of fire into cool swampy water of the sticky variety, also ending the technique, with multiple of the sticky syrup pools emerging from the ground, invariably emerging underneath you, as you were moving. They would cling to you and start moving upwards, instead of merely allowing you to sink in like Swamp of the Underworld, and climb upwards faster the more you move, completely locking your movement and then your arms and then drown you as you get hit by the flies all around.

Description: The user will focus their suiton chakra into the ground below to saturate the battlefield with with a large quantity of dense sticky water, similar in composition to the one produced in Water Release: Starch Syrup Capture Field. This user will then cause this adhesive liquid to seep from the ground in multiple places across the terrain as large circular "patches" of fluid, which will attach to anything they come into contact with, quickly binding the target object/person in place. The moment the sticky water attaches to something, it will begin to display symbiotic-like behaviour, attempting to envelop its unfortunate victim completely by slowly crawling up and around it, with this process varying in length depending on the size of the object/organism(s) being targeted. If used on living organism(s), the fluid behaves in a way comparable to quick sand, with the infestation spreading much more rapidly, the more the victim struggles against it. Small objects such as kunai, shuriken, swords and etc will be covered almost immediately, with the added effect of being ingested deep into the ground itself, clearing the battlefield of their presence. Underground travel of people/summons/objects will also be rendered almost impossible as the source of sticky water will ensnare whatever attempts to traverse through it. Alternatively, this jutsu is also extremely proficient against large ground-based summons, as they encompass a vast amount of space and will inevitably make contact with several patches of sticky water, resulting in them being covered at an accelerated rate. Using this jutsu gives the battlefield the appearance of a swamp, with several pond-sized patches of sticky water scattered across the terrain. As a result, this jutsu is often seen as the localized water-based counterpart of Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld, with the inherent difference of the sticky fluid climbing up the user instead of them sinking into it. Each of these circular patches of fluid are two meters in diameter. This technique also acts as an effective defense against speed-based users, since the sticky patches of fluid can span out from the user's position to act as a "protective minefield". One wrong step can lead to the opponent being captured and ensnared.

Description: Exuviae is a variant of the Insect Cocoon technique, applying the same principles of the concept by focusing chakra through the user's insects and accelerate their growth. The user will signal any active swarm , and nourish the insects with chakra, which will induce the rapid shedding and regeneration of their exoskeleton, multiplying the perceived amount of insects inside the swarm. These will be lifeless, but will behave like a barrier that will instantaneously protect the swarm from any one encounter, by doubling the defence properties of the insects by one rank ( Aburame Insects are normally weak to Elemental Ninjutsu besides Wood and other soft biological elements and strong to Raw Chakra ). This defense last the turn it is used or a single encounter, regardless of the difference in power ( stronger than the Exuviae Swarm will kill the swarm, weaker will neutralise the exoskeleton barrier ). Alternatively, due to the workings of the technique, the user is able to produce more chakra than the stated in the description of this technique, for a more direct approach against an opponent's technique, paying the chakra difference between the Swarm technique and the stronger opponent technique, plus an added +10 chakra, giving the swarm a defensive edge against boosted ninjutsu ( stat bonus, incremented combos, etc ). This will equalize the Exuviae Swarm, neutralizing the exoskeleton barrier and the opponent technique and carrying on the swarm itself, albeit weaker.

Note: Can only be used once every three turns.
Note: Boosted Exuviae can only be used three times.
Note: Boosted Exuviae is reliant on how much chakra the user spends on the technique, and works for any usage that would require more than 20 chakra ( which is the default cost of Exuviae, for the regular usage ) to equalize.
Note: Exuviae simply increases the defensive properties, not the damage output of any swarm technique.
Note: Alternative usage maxes out at +40 damage above an S rank.
Note: Can only be used by Aburame Clansmen.

As I said, the Water technique does not happen.


A large amount of bugs form, and propels Panthalassa upward, away from the Fire with ease. Dean smirked, as the bugs suddenly blasted towards him. Without the need for any hand seals, Dean gathers his Sound based chakra in his throat and roars, releasing a powerful shock wave of low frequency and high amplitude. The roar would reach the bugs in no time and clones, and they would cancel each other out, whilst cause the whole tavern to shake due to the power of the roar (your technique is S rank, enhanced or not, I will agree with neutrality for now, though I don't believe its like that).

Nonetheless, as the bugs were cancelled out (both techniques cancelling each other out, meaning its like they never happened), it leaves Panthalassa and his clones, wide open for attack, where merely charges his Sound based chakra into his hands and slams them together, creating a sound similar to two cymbals slamming against each other. This immediately causes Panthalassa to experience muscle paralysis. He falls down, as he can't control his bugs any more, leaving Dean to only deal with the clones. Both techniques happen quite fast after each other, as neither need hand seals, and are near instantaneous (The second technique, of course).

Description: This is a much greater and skilled version of the (Ototon: Hibiki Rendan no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Echo Assault Skill technique in which the user gathers his sound chakra into his throat as he inhales afterwards exhaling as he screams, yells or roars. The resulting effect is a massive shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude destructive sound that levels anything in its path. The biggest different is that the user can control the area of affect of the technique, depending on the range he targets and the angle of the sound waves his sound waves take. 180º to 90º, the technique is Short Ranged. 90º to 45º, the technique is Mid-Range and from 5º to 45º the technique is Long Ranged. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.

As the hands slam together, it releases a high pitched, high frequency sound wave, resonating in the enemies ear, and causing muscle paralysis upon hearing it. As the loud sound happens, it creates an echoing amongst the field, trapping any who hear it under paralysis, causing slight pain to them, causing their ear drums to bleed. Paralysis lasts one turn but the user cannot use any other sound techniques for 2 turns after using it.

The cavern is filled with flies, as Panthalassa kept on releasing more and more of them. Although the ones directly involved in the male swarm attack died, several more were still around, allowing for both the left-most clone and the right-most clone to take over them and each perform their own Bug Cloud, while Panthalassa does the same with bugs that shoot from his body directly:

Description: The user will cause a large amount of destruction bugs to swarm around the target creating a thick barrier that then swallows the target into a whirlpool of destruction bugs that drive the enemy into the ground.
Note: Must be a member of the Aburame clan

This happens immediately after the large sound blast, so they'd shoot out around the time Dean claps his hands together for the cymbal technique, so I'd assume this would block the sound. Pantha's swarm and the right-most clone's are composed solely of Male flies, while the left-most's swarm is composed solely of females, though all three swarms mix together in a furious whirlpool that constricts the Nekura, dealing a great deal of damage and draining his chakra.

Meanwhile, while Dean is dealing with the deafening triple cloud of loud flies, Panthalassa moves to the left, towards the opening of the cave system, launching 4 kunai with explosive tags towards where he knew his Sensei was last. The right-most clone would now be behind Dean, as he was encircling him, and he'd stop there. The left-most clone goes towards Dean directly, flying above close to the ceiling as to drop down above him, taking advantage of the flies that are wrapped around his limbs and body, asphyxiating him and restricting his motion. The left-most clone drops down with a great axe kick with his right ankle, aiming to break the man's consciousness in one strong kick.
